Bodywork For All Bodies

It is important to me that my practice is a safe space for everyone. I recognise that there may be barriers for some people, particularly marginalised people, to accessing bodywork. I want to create a secure and accessible space for those who may experience these barriers due to their unique life experiences.

I welcome BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ people, people with disabilities, neurodiverse people and bodies of all ages and sizes. My practice is also open to children with the supervision of their parent or guardian.

Shiatsu and acupressure massage are often given on a futon on the floor, over clothing, but treatment can also be performed on a chair or wheelchair, standing, or on a massage table. The treatment is flexible and adjusted to the receiver's needs, which I attend to sensitively.

The clinic that I work from is on the ground floor of a building that provides adequate access for people using a wheelchair. It is also OK for someone else to be in the room with the receiver throughout the treatment.

If you would like to talk to me about your individual needs prior to booking an appointment, please do so. You can contact me by email using the button below.
